Grants Committee will begin working immediately in response the the library of Michigan's announcement of competitive LSTA grants. We are investigating two programs - a MLIS program for N. Lower and UPper Peninsulas or a program to expand the educational reach of databases and other library services related to language, travel, humanitites and local history-also including Virtual Reality and Mobil hotspots. The comittee will also explore funding from other grants programs in addition to the LSTA funding.
