NOTICE OF BUDGET HEARING
SUPERIORLAND LIBRARY COOPERATIVE BOARD

The Superiorland Library Cooperative Board will hold a public hearing on the proposed library cooperative budget for the fiscal year October 1, 2026 – September 30, 2027 at the Peter White Public Library located at 217 N Front Street, Marquette MI 49855 on September 9, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. The property tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget will be a subject of this hearing. A copy of the budget, including the proposed property tax millage rates, may be accessed on SLC’s website at www.superiorlandlibrary.org. The budget will be also available for public inspection at the Superiorland Library Cooperative located at 1615 Presque Isle, Marquette MI 49855 during business hours.
The Superiorland Library Cooperative must hold a public hearing before the final adoption of the budget. Any interested person will be given the opportunity to be heard at the public hearing regarding the proposed budget.
The Superiorland Library Cooperative Board will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services upon 3 days’ notice to the Board.
